Toy Declutter Challenge Before The Holidays
In the last two weeks I’ve had multiple parents email me requesting help with their play spaces. Most of them are drowning in toys and are worried that there isn’t even room for the new gifts their kids will receive over the holidays. This got me wondering…
Are you feeling the same way?
I like to think that our family has been careful to keep our play spaces uncluttered throughout the year, but then I take a look in the toy bin in my daughters’ room and realize there are plenty of broken bits and unused toys mingling among the favorites.
So I’m starting a declutter challenge today and would love for you to join me!
December is a busy month and it’s a time to focus on being with friends and family. So this challenge is meant to be simple, something you can accomplish over the weekend or break it up over a few afternoons. It’s not about organizing or making your space look pretty, we can save that for the new year. It’s just a few steps that will give your play space some much needed breathing room.
As you’ll see in the guide, the challenge is meant to be broken up into smaller goals. I know decluttering can be daunting sometimes, but if you follow the steps in the guide, you’ll be amazed at how you feel afterwards.
I’m going to give myself the next two weeks to complete the challenge. Christmas eve and the first night of Hanukkah are both on December 24th this year, so even if it takes you 3 weeks, you’ll still get it done before the gifts begin to accumulate.
Let me know if you’ll be joining the challenge! Comment below, email me, or share your progress on Instagram at #artpantrychallenge.
I’ll be posting over on Instagram during the challenge, and checking in via email.
