Landing Play Area

This project was for a small landing area at the top of the stairs. The area leads to the kids bedrooms and bathroom, but has just enough space to create a play nook.
The client wanted to create an inviting play/reading/art space for her kids, while also blocking the railing from her 3 year old boy. She also wanted to keep the large massage chair in the corner.
I swapped out the old deep storage units for some cube bookcases with bins. I added a new rug and some pouf seating for the low table. I decided to include a transparent Lucite table so that it didn’t take up too much visual space in this small area.
I will update this landing play area with photos once all of the toys and supplies are in.
